Electrophysiology (EP) Cardiologist Physician
About The Position
The United Health Services Hospitals Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking an Electrophysiologist to join our growing Cardiology team. The Heart & Vascular Institute has 11 cardiologists including 4 interventionalists, 2 electrophysiologists and 5 non-interventionalists, and 11 cardiology NPs. We also have 2 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 surgical PAs, and 2 CVICU NPs in our surgical program. You will work beside highly trained professionals with a strong dedication to excellent quality cardiac care. All candidates must be BC/BE in Cardiology or must obtain these Board Certification within two (2) years of hire. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: UHS Heart and Vascular Institute Johnson City. UHS Heart & Vascular also offers teaching opportunities within our Cardiology Fellowship (8 fellows total), as well as teaching residents and medical students with Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and the ability to participate in clinical research.
Requirements
- BC/BE in Cardiology or must obtain Board Certification within two (2) years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrophysiology services within the Heart & Vascular Institute.
- Work alongside a team of cardiologists, NPs, and cardiothoracic surgeons.
- Participate in teaching opportunities for Cardiology Fellowship, residents, and medical students.
- Engage in clinical research.
