Electrophysiologist
About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified Electrophysiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Duluth, MN. This is an outpatient clinical role focusing on electrophysiology care. The position involves a mix of clinic work (60-70%) and procedures (30-40%). The physician will manage Afib and other arrhythmia cases, but will not perform VT, PVC, ablations, or extractions. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:30p, with two such stretches per month. There is no call or holiday coverage required. All documentation must be completed in the Epic EMR system. Collaboration with a dedicated support staff, including RNs, PAs/NPs, and office staff, is essential.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Licensed in MN or IMLC
- Fellowship required
- Minimum 2 years of EP experience
- Epic experience required
Nice To Haves
- VT, PVC, ablations, and extractions are not performed
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient clinic and procedural electrophysiology care, with a mix of approximately 60-70% clinic and 30-40% procedures
