About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for an Electrophysiologist in Chambersburg, PA. The role involves providing full-spectrum electrophysiology services in a hospital and clinic/private practice setting. The coverage period is from August 3, 2026, to November 2, 2026. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no call responsibilities. The position requires managing outpatient clinics with approximately 16 patients per day and providing inpatient consults for 10-15 patients per day. The physician will collaborate with an assigned outpatient clinical team and an inpatient APP, and will utilize the Epic EMR system for all documentation.

Requirements

• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ
• BC or BE in Electrophysiology
• DEA required
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum electrophysiology services including pacemaker implants, ICD implants, loop recorder implants/explant, and ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)
• Manage outpatient clinic seeing 16 patients per day
• Provide inpatient consults for 10-15 patients per day
• Collaborate with one assigned outpatient clinical team and one assigned inpatient APP
• Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and order entry
• Maintain Monday–Friday 8a–5p schedule
