GDIT is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance II to perform complex technical functions supporting the US Navy. This role involves the setup, operation, maintenance, modifications, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems, experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment. The technician will also repair or modify cables and equipment, work with through-hole and surface-mount components, and utilize schematics, diagrams, and written/verbal instructions with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include conducting complex engineering tests, diagnosing equipment and system malfunctions, assisting in the development of electronic equipment, and potentially providing guidance to less experienced technicians. The role requires using engineered drawings, statements of work, and technical manuals for cable systems and preparing/installing distribution equipment.
