About The Position

The Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic equipment and components. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electronics, board-level troubleshooting, soldering, and the use of diagnostic equipment to resolve hardware and configuration issues.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
  • Experience with board-level diagnostics and repair.
  • Proficiency using testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical education in Electronics or a related field.
  • A+ Certification and/or IPC Certification.
  • Experience with through-hole and surface-mount soldering.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electronic devices and components at the board level.
  • Perform fault isolation, signal tracing, circuit analysis, and configuration troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Use through-hole and surface-mount soldering techniques to complete repairs.
  • Operate diagnostic and testing equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
  • Apply knowledge of electronic fundamentals, digital components, and logic circuits.
  • Maintain quality, productivity, and safety standards.
  • Support additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
