About The Position

SSDI's high power and high voltage semiconductors and electronic systems meet the critical needs of many Aerospace and Defense applications. We are seeking a motivated Electronics Assembler to join our dynamic team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for mechanically inspecting and cleaning components.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Basic math skills required

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 6-months experience in a relevant position is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Mechanical inspection and cleaning of components to ensure they are free of debris, properly aligned, and securely soldered
• Ensure subassemblies are properly handled
• Use of manufacturing hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, drills, etc.)
• Proficient in microscope operation
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Follow standardized procedures
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment
