About The Position

Produces electronics assemblies through the use of parts, work orders and standard work. This role requires good technical knowledge and manual dexterity, with the ability to work with basic hand tools and read instructions from manuals. The assembler must be able to switch between multiple tasks to support product flow and be flexible with hours, including overtime when needed to meet demand.

Requirements

• Must have good technical knowledge and possess manual dexterity.
• Must be able to work with basic hand tools (automatic drivers, basic latches and fixtures).
• Ability to read instructions represented in manuals.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by assembling parts; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Able to switch between multiple tasks between within production day to support flow of product.
• Able to flex hours and work overtime when needed to support on time delivery and demand increases.
