About The Position
Produces electronics assemblies through the use of parts, work orders and standard work.
Requirements
- Must have good technical knowledge and possess manual dexterity.
- Must be able to work with basic hand tools (automatic drivers, basic latches and fixtures)
- Ability to read instructions represented in manuals.
Responsibilities
- Prepares work by assembling parts; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Able to switch between multiple tasks between within production day to support flow of product.
- Able to flex hours and work overtime when needed to support on time delivery and demand increases.
