About The Position

IS4S is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Electronics Assembler to support the production of advanced electronic systems for defense programs at our Orlando facility. This position is responsible for assembling precision electronic and electromechanical hardware in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and established manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys hands-on assembly, and is comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining exceptional workmanship and attention to detail. The Electronics Assembler will work closely with manufacturing personnel, engineering technicians, quality inspectors, and engineers to support high-rate production activities. Success in this role requires someone who is dependable, quality-focused, and capable of consistently following documented processes while maintaining strict quality and traceability standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience in electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, or manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Experience using common hand tools, torque tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining consistent workmanship and quality.
  • Ability to accurately complete production documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively within a small, agile manufacturing team.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards.
  • Experience installing electronic assemblies, harnesses, connectors, and cable assemblies.
  • Experience working from controlled work instructions and engineering drawings.
  • Experience with electronic potting or encapsulation processes.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 quality systems.
  • Experience handling serialized hardware and maintaining product traceability.
