About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Electronics Assembler 2 for an onsite job in Warner Robins, GA. This is a 7-month contract-to-hire position with a 9x80 A work schedule. The role involves performing a variety of repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This includes modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. The assembler will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws. They will also perform continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies. Additionally, the role may involve disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience (i.e., fabricating, repairing, and modifying complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units, and wiring harnesses).
  • Must have IPC J-STD-001 Soldering certification and meet associated training requirements.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of repair capability experience in electronic assembly, fabrication, repair, or modification of complex electronic assemblies, circuit cards, shop or line replaceable units, and wiring harnesses.
  • IPC J-STD-001 Soldering certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to assemble and disassemble electronic assemblies using detailed drawings, work instructions, or Technical Orders.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Works from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
  • Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.
  • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
