About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Electronics Assembler 2 for an onsite job in Buffalo, NY. This role operates on the 2nd shift, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, with a work schedule of 5x8 (Monday-Friday). The position does not require a security clearance.

Requirements

• 2+ years of assembly or electronics experience, or an Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical discipline
• Soldering experience
• Experience performing manufacturing/assembly tasks in a metric-based work environment
• Ability to move objects weighing up to 10 pounds
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

• IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification
• Ability to solder at Class 2 level
• Experience working under a microscope with small electronic assemblies
• Strong manual dexterity and precision
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret written work instructions and engineering drawings
• Customer-focused attitude
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic components using assembly drawings, diagrams, and job aids to meet customer requirements.
• Perform fine-pitch soldering of circuit card assemblies, BGA rework and repair, manual and automated microelectronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, semi-rigid wire and cable harness fabrication and installation, and transformer winding and encapsulation based on business needs.
• Perform continuity checks.
• Operate production equipment.
• Inspect completed work for compliance.
• Document production data.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers.
• Follow all safety, ESD, FOD, and cleanliness requirements.
• Successfully complete in-house workmanship training for continued employment.
