About The Position

Builds, troubleshoots, and tests electronic circuits, harnesses, and assemblies; creates and maintains documentation. This role involves certifying/testing lab for electro-static discharge effectiveness, working with other organizations for support with parts, mechanical support, and calibrations, and collaborating with outside vendors. The associate will assist with test and test procedure design, troubleshoot circuits of advanced complexity, and design, build, test, and troubleshoot prototype electronic circuits, harnesses, and assemblies. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting and testing current products, preparing and conducting product demonstrations, and generating documentation using appropriate application software. The role manages lab work requests, documents and administers workflows, and completes schedules, planning, reviews, and releases. Additionally, the associate will develop test result report formats, train and lead other technicians and technical support specialists, and understand and apply appropriate Company and department rules and guidelines. This position involves developing and conducting training programs, providing counseling, mentoring, and coaching, and serving as company representatives in various capacities to customers, suppliers, and outside agencies. The associate will interact effectively with all employees throughout the company, exercise independent decision-making and initiative, perform problem-solving, creative technical and analytical work, budget management, and hands-on applications, and coordinate programs. Adaptability and responsiveness to changing work needs are essential, as is the willingness to undertake new tasks. The role requires knowledge and compliance with all safety policies and procedures, and demonstration of confidentiality. Work will be shared with exempt and other OCU employees as required. The associate will manage their own work and maintain a flexible schedule to meet the demands of priority work, participate in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action, and plan and engage in continuous learning. Travel is required as needed, and other miscellaneous duties will be performed as required.
