Electronic Assembler

B.E. Meyers•Redmond, WA

About The Position

The Electronic Assembler works under moderate supervision to perform mechanical, optical, and electrical assembly and testing operations that meet or exceed company standards. The position includes multiple levels, with duties and qualifications increasing by level. Assemblers perform basic testing and inspection, work with the team to meet assembly requirements, and may handle soldering, optical assemblies, and approved rework depending on their level. The role requires compliance with electrostatic discharge (ESD) practices and U.S. export-control requirements; applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. §120.62. Assemblers may work in environments with temperature limitations and exposure to chemicals, fumes, cleaners, and solvents. Protective clothing and equipment may be required when handling materials or working in ESD- and laser-controlled areas. The position involves occasional work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. Physical requirements include occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, manual dexterity and repetitive motions, and a range of standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Vision capabilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. The company offers medical, vision, and dental coverage; a 401(k) retirement plan; short- and long-term disability insurance; life insurance; paid parental leave; discounts and other perks; 10 days of paid vacation, paid holidays, one annual floater day, and paid sick time accrued at one hour for every 40 hours worked.
