About The Position

Aerosphere Power & Navigation is seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Assembler in Budd Lake, New Jersey, with hands-on experience in precision electronic assembly and soldering. The role involves electronic and electromechanical assembly of printed circuit boards, harnesses, and subassemblies, following IPC and J-STD-001 workmanship standards. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The assembler uses hand tools, soldering equipment, and microscopes to assemble and inspect components, while interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions. The role also includes inspecting solder joints and component placement, collaborating with engineering and production teams to resolve issues, and maintaining an organized work area while following ESD and safety protocols. Employment is contingent on a background check. ITAR or EAR clearance may be required for access to certain technology, software, and hardware.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in electronic or electromechanical assembly.
Current J-STD-001 solder certification.
Ability to work with small components and perform fine-pitch soldering under a microscope.
Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and manual dexterity.

Nice To Haves

IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent training.
Experience in an aerospace, defense, or high-reliability manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
