About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring 2nd Shift Electronic Assemblers in Farmington, NM. As an Electronic Assembler, you will read and interpret written and verbal work instructions to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established procedures and quality standards. You will follow all safety requirements, company processes, and production procedures, and use a variety of hand and power tools to perform assembly and production activities. This role involves conducting quality inspections throughout the production process to ensure products meet specifications, identifying product defects and completing required documentation, and reworking and repairing products in accordance with engineering and specification changes. You will also report quality, equipment, material, and process issues to supervisors and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including adherence to Foreign Object Damage (FOD) requirements. Additional duties include assisting with material handling and other manufacturing support activities, participating in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, cross-training in other departments, and supporting additional production-related duties as needed. You will also ensure equipment is properly calibrated and used according to established procedures. This is a full-time, long-term assignment with 2nd Shift hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch for up to 10-hour shifts
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 25 pounds
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must maintain an active email address
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and assigned shifts as required
Must successfully complete all required screenings and background checks
