About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for Electrical Assemblers in Carson, CA. As an Electrical Assembler, you will assemble and solder electronic printed circuit boards, small mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. The employee will use basic electronic assembly tools, instruments and equipment daily in the production of printed circuit boards and assemblies. You will prepare wires for assembly by measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools and soldering equipment. You will also apply and handle conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives. Perform less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment. Work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities and keep your assigned work area organized and clean. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Electrical Assembly experience within a manufacturing environment
Detailed- Oriented
Read Blueprints/Schematics
Must be able to pass a background and drug screen

Responsibilities

Use standard electronic assembly hand tools, common power tools and continuity test equipment such as ohmmeters.
Prepare wires for assembly measuring, cutting, stripping, tinning and attaching contacts, lugs and other terminal type devices using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools and soldering equipment.
Apply and handle conformal coatings, sealants and adhesives.
Perform less complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment.
Work in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities.
Keep assigned work area organized and clean.
Perform other duties as assigned
