The Boeing Company's Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Group is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineer. This role will support BDS commercial-derivative aircraft programs, such as the U.S. E-7A and the KC-46A tanker, in Tukwila, WA. The engineer will be responsible for developing and validating E3 requirements and architectures to integrate complex components and subsystems into higher-level platforms. Key responsibilities include defining and conducting tests to validate designs against requirements and providing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) expertise throughout design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing processes. The E3 environments covered include EMI, Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), Precipitation Static (P-static), and Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP). The team is hiring for various experience levels, including Experienced, Career, and Expert.
