The Boeing Company's Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Group is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineer. This role will support BDS commercial-derivative aircraft programs, including the U.S. E-7A and the KC-46A tanker, in Tukwila, WA. The engineer will be responsible for developing and validating E3 requirements and architectures to integrate complex components and subsystems into higher-level platforms. Key duties include defining and conducting tests to validate designs against requirements and providing expertise in Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) throughout design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing processes. The scope of E3 environments encompasses EMI, Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), Precipitation Static (P-static), Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), and related environments. The team is hiring for various experience levels: Experienced, Career, and Expert.
