The Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) team is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ. The E3 Engineer is responsible for electromagnetic interference/electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC). As an E3 Engineering Program Lead for Raytheon, the engineer will lead all E3 and EMI engineering efforts for particular Programs. The candidate should possess experience in this field and have a working knowledge of both military and commercial EMI standards, including but not limited to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, EN5550X, EN61000-XX and FCC Part 15. Specific areas of expertise will include experience in the design and verification analysis of EMI/EMC, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation, Lightning, EMP and High Altitude EMP, Shielding effectiveness and ESD. Also desirable is familiarity with TEMPEST filter designs and isolation techniques. This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.
