The Boeing Company's Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Group is seeking an Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineer to support BDS commercial-derivative aircraft programs, including the U.S. E-7A and the KC-46A tanker, in Tukwila, WA. This role involves developing and validating E3 requirements and architectures for integrating complex components and subsystems into higher-level platforms. Responsibilities include defining and conducting tests to validate designs against requirements and providing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) expertise throughout design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing processes. The E3 environments covered include EMI, Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), Precipitation Static (P-static), Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), and related environments. The company is hiring for a broad range of experience levels, from Career to Expert.
