This job posting is for an existing vacancy within the organization Samuel Associated Tube Group is a premier supplier of welded cold-drawn stainless steel, high nickel alloy and carbon tubular products with solutions for industries worldwide. We design and manufacture a comprehensive range of tube products including standard and specialized tubular solutions in multiple diameter sizes, shapes and profiles to meet the unique needs of our customers. Leveraging the metallurgical and new product development expertise of our teams, we help customers realize significant cost savings and deliver innovative solutions faster.

Requirements

  • Licensed Electrician
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming
  • 5 years related experience in electrical/electronic maintenance
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Completion of a criminal background check as required by CTPAT requirements.
  • 309A or 442A ticket.
  • Certificate of Apprentice.
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Okay to wear a respirator when working with chemicals.
  • Okay to work at heights.

Responsibilities

  • Must know all relevant SSOP and MWI for the department and equipment they are operating.
  • Diagnoses equipment malfunctions using appropriate test instruments and circuit diagrams.
  • Maintains and repairs electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems.
  • Fabricates and/or installs electrical/electronic/electromechanical systems.
  • Follows all safety precautions and procedures. Ensures that all equipment is safe before releasing to production.
  • Able to do simple fabrication of mechanical components using maintenance equipment for bracketry or installation modification of electrical devices.
  • Performs all electrical preventative maintenance related to inspections, record results and reports results as per procedure.
  • Reports all electrical issues to the Electrical Leadhand and Maintenance Supervisor immediately.
  • Ensures all shop equipment is locked up at the end of the shift and all hand tools and materials have been returned to designated safe storage areas.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work shift work.
  • Must keep work area neat and tidy at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required.
