Requirements

• Knowledge of the principles of electricity, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09) Certification and WHMIS 2015 Certification (Alberta) or equivalent.
• Commercial Experience required.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• First Aid training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
• Install, replace, and repair lighting fixtures, electrical control, and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
