About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. The electrician will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently, replace or repair faulty electrical components of machinery, and troubleshoot equipment including VFD and multilin. Rewiring motors and collaborating with team members to complete projects on time are also key responsibilities. Maintaining accurate records of work performed is essential.

Requirements

  • Industrial Electrician experience required; 5 years overall electrician experience required.
  • Certification as an Industrial Electrician; or equivalent combination of education and training required.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry in practical situations.
  • System knowledge of HMI and PLC control systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Rockwell/Allen Bradley experience preferred
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
