About The Position
ZL Chemicals Ltd. is a leading provider of advanced chemical solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and energy applications. We specialize in developing and manufacturing high-performance friction reducers and other specialty chemical products that improve operational efficiency and performance for our customers. Our team is continuously growing, and we are seeking a skilled Electrician to support operations at our U.S. facility.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas environments
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Valid Electrician Certificate (required)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Safety-focused mindset with strong compliance awareness
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Organized with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, and alcohol testing prior to employment
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, power systems, relays, and control panels
- Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and distribution equipment
- Diagnose and repair faults in power supply and electrical distribution systems
- Carry out switching operations during voltage trips or power interruptions to ensure safe and timely restoration
- Conduct daily inspections of electrical systems in accordance with operational requirements
- Execute preventative maintenance programs based on electrical standards, manuals, and procedures
- Identify electrical faults, document issues, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures
- Provide onsite electrical troubleshooting and support as needed
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Support general operational activities, including warehouse and production tasks, as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned
