About The Position

ZL Chemicals Ltd. is a leading provider of advanced chemical solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and energy applications. We specialize in developing and manufacturing high-performance friction reducers and other specialty chemical products that improve operational efficiency and performance for our customers. Our team is continuously growing, and we are seeking a skilled Electrician to support operations at our U.S. facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas environments
  • Hands-on experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Valid Electrician Certificate (required)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Safety-focused mindset with strong compliance awareness
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Organized with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug, and alcohol testing prior to employment

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, including motors, power systems, relays, and control panels
  • Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and distribution equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults in power supply and electrical distribution systems
  • Carry out switching operations during voltage trips or power interruptions to ensure safe and timely restoration
  • Conduct daily inspections of electrical systems in accordance with operational requirements
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs based on electrical standards, manuals, and procedures
  • Identify electrical faults, document issues, and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures
  • Provide onsite electrical troubleshooting and support as needed
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance
  • Support general operational activities, including warehouse and production tasks, as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
