We’re looking for experienced Journeyperson Electricians who thrive in dynamic industrial environments and take pride in safely maintaining a wide range of equipment to deliver reliable, top-tier performance.
Requirements
- Five years of trade experience as a fully qualified Journeyperson in a large industrial facility
- Previous experience with Mining Equipment with a focus on shovels
- A valid Alberta Journeyperson certified or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certificate
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Execute planned maintenance and response work and maintain equipment history
- Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide spectrum of electrical equipment and machinery
- Maintain, test and ensure the functionality of electrical equipment protection systems, safety systems, emergency shutdown (ESD) equipment, and backup systems
- Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for electrical systems, participate in failure analysis discussions, develop and plan jobs, which includes material assessment and selection
- Assist other maintenance and operations teammates to ensure equipment reliability
