About The Position
International Paper is hiring an Electrician/Mechanic at its Wooster Box Facility in Wooster, Ohio. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing programmable controllers, AC and DC drives, and associated control systems; maintaining machinery so it can operate at available capacity and speed; and planning and scheduling maintenance work. The employee follows up on work orders to verify repairs are completed properly and recorded in the maintenance software, while complying with company policies and procedures, safety requirements, and housekeeping standards. The position is hourly, full-time, and available on the second or third shift, with pay of $36.78 to $39.01 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot programmable controllers and AC and DC drives.
- Make necessary repairs to drives and their control systems.
- Maintain machinery to maximize equipment utilization and keep it running at available capacity and speed.
- Follow up on work orders to ensure repairs and work are performed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
- Plan and schedule maintenance work.
- Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety requirements and maintaining good housekeeping.
