The Electrician Apprentice is responsible for installation and repair of automated industrial control equipment. This role involves installing and maintaining industrial control equipment and instrumentation such as loop controllers, variable frequency drives, solid-state reduced voltage starters, level controls, Ethernet motor control centers, belt scales, and control panels. The position requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, the ability to install and repair electric motors and equipment (120, 240, and 480V), and knowledge of basic hand tools and machine shop equipment. The Electrician Apprentice will also complete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled, document finished work, and may drive a pick-up truck or maintenance vehicle for parts pickup. Other duties as assigned.
