About The Position
Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is actively seeking motivated Electrician Helpers to join their growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for individuals with construction or electrical experience who are ready to build a long-term career in the electrical trade. At IPS, they believe in investing in their people. You'll work alongside some of the industry's most experienced electricians while receiving hands-on training on complex industrial electrical projects. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous construction experience is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform overhead work for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn and develop a career in the electrical trade.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
- Work alongside experienced Journeymen, Foremen, and Superintendents to safely complete electrical installations.
- Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, equipment installation, and electrical terminations.
- Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Continuously develop electrical knowledge and practical field skills through hands-on training and mentorship.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
