About The Position

Industrial Power Solutions, a Sundt Company, is actively seeking motivated Electrician Helpers to join our growing team. This is an outstanding opportunity for individuals with construction or electrical experience who are ready to build a long-term career in the electrical trade. At IPS, we believe in investing in our people. You'll work alongside some of the industry's most experienced electricians while receiving hands-on training on complex industrial electrical projects. Our top-performing employees also have the opportunity to participate in our fully paid, four-year apprenticeship program, providing a clear path toward becoming a Journeyman Electrician. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction experience is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform overhead work for extended periods.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in the electrical trade.

Nice To Haves

• Electrical experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems.
• Work alongside experienced Journeymen, Foremen, and Superintendents to safely complete electrical installations.
• Assist with conduit installation, wire pulls, equipment installation, and electrical terminations.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and applicable electrical codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Continuously develop electrical knowledge and practical field skills through hands-on training and mentorship.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
