About The Position

Working with limited supervision, this role involves the installation, removal, relocation, and modification of circuits, feeders, rough wiring up to applicable fire alarm systems/devices (excluding programming, software), and applicable security systems, electrical equipment, and associated material while adhering to the current NFPA 70 and current Massachusetts Amendments regarding work performed. The position is for the 1st shift, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, in Andover, MA, and is an onsite role. This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement, meaning wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.

Requirements

Current Massachusetts Electrical Journeyman's license.
Minimum of 5 years electrical experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required.
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.

Responsibilities

Safely plans, lays out, and performs installations, repairs, and maintenance of the RTX electrical infrastructure, and supports machine tool maintenance requirements.
Creates stock lists in conjunction with or reviewed with the group leader.
Notifies supervision when major and extensive repairs or modifications are necessary.
Performs ESD work.
Maintains a clean work area.
Performs general maintenance and daily housekeeping of workplace, tools, and equipment.
Maintains records, moves materials/equipment, and follows safety rules in the performance of duties.
Performs any electrical-related work as assigned and other similar duties as required or directed.
