Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift
About The Position
Pacific Cheese, a family-owned and operated company for over 50 years, is seeking an Industrial Electrician for its 1st Shift schedule. This role is crucial for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production, building, and facilities equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the power distribution of plant equipment, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment, and interpreting schematics and equipment manuals. The position also involves analyzing process data, performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and utilizing an online service maintenance application to document all maintenance activities. The role requires working around production activities to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 years’ experience in electrical (480V and Control 120/24V DC).
- Familiar with conveyer systems, background in ladder logic
Nice To Haves
- Allen Bradley PLC very helpful.
- Background in food packaging is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment and batch processes.
- Maintain the power distribution of plant equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment, using precision measurement tools.
- Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
- Analyze process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to increase equipment reliability and up-time.
- Utilize online service maintenance application to accurately and thoroughly document and track all corrective and preventative maintenance performed throughout the course of the day, including searching, and issuing parts, documenting equipment issues, and entering inspection/measurement points.
