About The Position

Integrates electrical components, subassemblies, products and/or systems into various configurations by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames.

Requirements

• 1-3yrs of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel tools and parts.
• Must reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to walk and climb or balance.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions, written and pictorial instructions.
• Must be able to interpret electrical schematics.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Mounts and assembles electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, controllers, etc. Displaying knowledge of good practices in workmanship and wire routing.
• Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, knobs and switches.
• Other duties as assigned.
