About The Position

This role involves performing specific tasks such as soldering, hardware installation, and post coating after proper training and certification. The assembler will inspect their own work to ensure it meets quality standards, engineering requirements, and design specifications. The position requires meeting productivity expectations to fulfill customer deadlines and adhering to all Raytheon Technologies' rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, and attendance. The role also includes participation in cost reduction and continuous improvement plans, audits, acquiring necessary skills and certifications, and maintaining a clean work area. Reporting work progress to leads or supervisors and completing assigned tasks within the scope of the job description are also key responsibilities. A soldering assessment must be passed after training.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
  • Must be able to pass a soldering assessment after training course provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform soldering, hardware installation, and post coating.
  • Inspect own work to ensure quality, engineering requirements, and design specifications are met.
  • Meet productivity expectations to meet customer deadlines.
  • Comply with all Raytheon Technologies' rules and regulations (Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics and Compliance, Quality, attendance).
  • Participate in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Acquire applicable skills/knowledge/certifications and complete trainings.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Report to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates.
  • Complete assigned tasks within the scope and skill level of the job description.
  • Pass a soldering assessment after training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
