This role involves setting up and performing functional, operational, and electrical testing on client’s 3-phase UPS Pantera products. The technician will test UPS systems, electrical assemblies, controls, accessories, breakers, CTs, communication components, and related electronic systems. A key part of the job is reading and interpreting various technical documents such as wiring diagrams, schematics, outline drawings, bills of material, and test specifications. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting wiring, electrical, mechanical, and functional issues identified during testing, performing AC/DC circuit analysis, and validating proper system operation. This position requires the use of electrical test equipment and involves tasks like uploading firmware, downloading parameters, configuring control panels, and setting up electronic components. Verification of protective relays, breakers, controls, sensors, and related devices according to engineering documentation is also a responsibility. The role includes documenting test results, defects, rework activity, and quality findings, as well as communicating test failures or concerns to relevant teams. Adherence to all safety requirements, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout, PPE, and energized work controls, is mandatory. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and supporting continuous improvement activities are also expected.
