About The Position

CACI is seeking an Electrical Test Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The position is fully on-site at the company’s Danbury, Connecticut location and supports ongoing Space and Defense programs. This hands-on role works directly with technical staff on engineering assignments, including tooling design, test planning, laboratory testing, and test data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
Able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Experience using common laboratory equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

Previous internship or laboratory experience with electrical testing.
Familiarity with Python or another programming language.

Responsibilities

Design specialized tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
Generate test procedures and develop test plans.
Support testing in the laboratory.
Assist technicians with test installation and preparation as needed.
Collect test data, reduce and analyze data, and generate test reports upon test completion.
