About The Position

The Test Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace/RTX will work onsite in Burnsville, Minnesota, supporting qualification and testing of air data sensors. The intern will operate a wind tunnel, assist engineers with upgrades to improve long-term wind-tunnel functionality, troubleshoot failures, and help analyze test data. The internship offers exposure to working as part of an engineering team, understanding how physical changes to air data sensors translate into measured parameters, and learning how wind-tunnel testing helps ensure a sensor is ready for use on an airplane. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM major and remain actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session. A U.S. Person is required; security clearance is not required.
