About The Position
As an Electrical Supervisor with WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse, you will work on site at the Palisades nuclear site in Covert, MI. This is a full-time contract reporting to the Site Manager at Palisades.
Requirements
- Field experience in electrical work
- Prior experience working in nuclear facilities or other regulated environments
- Be able to manage crews and resolve issues on-site
- 5+ years of experience with electrical systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Relevant certifications (e.g., journeyman electrician, OSHA training, nuclear site clearance) preferred
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics operations, staff, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards
- Oversee electrical work related to maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting within nuclear facilities
- Coordinate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead electrical crews, ensuring safe work practices and high-quality performance
- Conduct inspections and ensure all work meets industry codes and nuclear safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and safety checks
