About The Position

The Electrical Supervisor directs a multi-discipline maintenance team to provide maintenance and reliability services for HB & North Plant Surface Operations. This position is responsible for ensuring equipment and system availability and integrity to meet defined production targets and contribute to the success of the organization’s business plan goals. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a mining, plant, or industrial production environment, including operating or maintenance experience
• Supervisory or management experience in an industrial environment
• Broad technical knowledge across electrical and instrumentation disciplines

Nice To Haves

• Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience
• Maintenance planning and scheduling experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities performed by hourly and contractor personnel are carried out safely, efficiently, and in an environmentally sound manner by ensuring required procedures, practices, standards, and rules are documented and followed.
• Maximize equipment availability by determining potential hazards and risks to production and developing and implementing systems to maintain required availability and integrity.
• Ensure maintenance philosophies are correctly applied to each unit and reflected in preventive maintenance (PM) schedules as directed by the HB & North Surface Superintendent.
• Lead a multi-discipline maintenance team with diverse skill sets toward common departmental and organizational goals.
• Control maintenance costs in a dynamic environment impacted by changing production rates, equipment wear, new technology, physical plant changes, and workforce variability.
• Perform other duties as assigned
