About The Position

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Electrical Panel Wiring Assembler in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role involves assembling electrical control panels by mounting components, cutting and terminating wires, installing wiring harnesses, and wiring panels according to schematics and diagrams. The assembler will perform functional tests, troubleshoot wiring errors, and maintain documentation. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

Prior experience in electrical panel wiring required.
Strong understanding of electrical theory and principles.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High School Diploma or GED.
OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain.
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

Assemble electrical control panels by mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, contactors, and other electrical devices.
Cut, strip, and terminate wires to appropriate terminals and connectors.
Install wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
Wire control panels according to electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and ensure proper wire routing and termination to meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Perform functional tests on completed panels to verify correct operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve wiring errors or malfunctions, and use testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes to diagnose issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of panel wiring and testing procedures, and complete necessary paperwork and quality control checks.
