About The Position

The Electrical Panel Assembler is responsible for manually assembling complex industrial machining. This role requires a basic understanding of electricity, the ability to read and understand pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic schematics, and proficiency with tools and measuring instruments. The assembler will perform basic wiring, layout and wiring of control panels, and light mechanical work including assembly of minor tooling, drilling, and tapping. They may also be involved in disassembling machines and crating them for shipment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1-2 years of related work experience OR Any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient with power and hand tools.
  • Strong Technical abilities
  • Work in a team environment and be safety oriented
  • Able to read and understand basic pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Have required tools, know how to read and use measuring instruments, and be capable of doing light duty mechanical work.
  • Basic wiring utilizing blueprint drawings
  • Layout and wiring of control panel
  • Strong motor skills and strong mechanical aptitude to use power tools and hand tools to assemble frame of machine.
  • Assembly of minor tooling; drilling and tapping
  • With instructions from team lead – disassemble machine
  • Crate machine
  • Must be able to manually enter data to the computer system and understand the screen and images that appear.

Nice To Haves

  • Electronic/ Trade School certificate or any higher education in electronics or mechanical systems preferred.
