About The Position

Intermountain Electronics (IE) is hiring Electrical Manufacturing Technicians for its manufacturing facility in Price, Utah. IE designs and manufactures custom electrical power distribution and control systems for industries including data centers, mining, utilities, energy, and industrial manufacturing. Entry-level applicants without prior electrical experience are welcome and receive paid, hands-on training. Candidates with relevant experience may qualify for an advanced technician classification and higher starting pay. Technician assignments and responsibility levels depend on training, demonstrated abilities, and previous experience. Technicians contribute to the construction, assembly, wiring, inspection, and testing of custom electrical equipment, working on projects from component installation through final testing and quality verification. Work is primarily indoors at the Price facility, with a consistent day-shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and every other Friday off. Employees must be available for a 40-hour workweek, with additional hours as operational needs require. The position offers opportunities to develop technical skills and advance through multiple technician levels. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants. The role involves hands-on work in an industrial manufacturing facility with electrical components, production equipment, tools, and moving machinery. Employees are expected to follow safety policies, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements; maintain an orderly workspace; and work reliably and cooperatively with others. Employment offers are contingent on applicable pre-employment screening, including a background check and drug screen.
