Keep power flowing where it matters Are you the electrician who can keep high-throughput conveyors moving and downtime near zero? In this role, you will sustain the electrical backbone of a coal transshipment operation—bridging rail to vessel—while earning competitive pay, monthly and quarterly bonuses, and enjoying strong benefits with a flexible schedule. Challenges you’ll solve Diagnose and resolve faults in PLC-controlled conveyor systems using ladder logic and sound electrical practices. Build and repair control panels; bend conduit; wire and verify 220/480V circuits and power distribution. Maintain AC/DC motors and variable-speed drives, controls, and sensors (limit and proximity) to meet throughput targets. Interpret electrical codes, prints, schematics, diagrams, and manuals to service industrial machinery. Create and carry out preventive maintenance programs that extend asset life and minimize unplanned downtime. Perform safety inspections; rigorously apply OSHA standards (LOTO, confined space, fall protection, hot work, mobile equipment operation, PPE). When needed, safely operate loaders, dozers, locomotives, and cranes to support coal movement from rail to vessel. Who you are Industrial electrician with 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Expert at reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Well-versed in industrial electrical codes and safety protocols. Calm, analytical troubleshooter with strong communication skills. Experienced with PLCs; comfortable at heights, outdoors, and in confined spaces. Able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). Available for overtime and rotating shifts (nights, holidays, weekends). Journeyman or Master Electrician credential strongly preferred.
