The Material Handling Laborer will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following: manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices; unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations; or transporting goods by hand trucks, carts, or wheelbarrows.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year in warehouse environment/area including inventory control and distribution or related custodial experience
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions described below
• Physical ability to perform general tasks detailed in the assigned contract(s)
• Must know and understand organizational safety procedures and equipment operation
• Must interact appropriately with customers, team members, and government personnel
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy
• Meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on the specified contract(s)
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate
