About The Position

Technica is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to support the DLA Warehouse at NAS. The Material Handling Laborer will perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise. Duties involve one or more of the following: Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices, unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations, and transporting goods by material handling equipment, hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow. Responsible for the receipt, inspection, inventory, condition code classification, storage, issue, packing and shipment of equipment, material, and supplies. Process material and equipment by utilizing DLA provided SOPs, computer systems, and programs. Load and unload conveyances utilizing material handling equipment up to 50K forklift.

Requirements

US Citizen
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years of age
Valid state driver's license
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
