About The Position

At Jabil, the Electrical Lead oversees and guides an electrical team during a shift, ensuring electrical projects, maintenance, and troubleshooting are completed efficiently and safely. The role supports manufacturing operations by coordinating electrical installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure. It also works with other shifts and departments to maintain operational continuity, accurate work records, and ongoing process improvement.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electrical operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support repairs and modifications.
• Coordinate with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth operational transitions and project continuity.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program for electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including repairs, installations, and inventory.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within the electrical department.
• Participate in root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
