About The Position

You will be the Electrical Harness Engineer for the Aeronautics Electrical Engineering Team which is responsible for delivering advanced electrical harness solutions that power cutting‑edge aeronautics platforms. As the Electrical Harness Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the electrical architecture that enables mission‑critical aircraft systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
  • Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting
  • Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
  • Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
  • Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance
  • 2 years of professional experience; or no experience with a related Masters degree

Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed electrical wiring schematic drawings and develop complex power distribution systems.
  • Partner with subsystem engineers to define electrical loads, wiring requirements, and ensure seamless integration.
  • Manage supplier relationships, author statements of work, and coordinate system check‑outs.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing processes, resolve build‑up issues, and guarantee flawless execution.
