About The Position

You will be the Electrical Harness Engineer for the Electrical Harness Engineering team which is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge wiring solutions that enable advanced aerospace platforms. As the Electrical Harness Engineer you will be responsible for translating system requirements into precise electrical harness designs and ensuring flawless integration across subsystems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
  • Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting
  • Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
  • Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
  • Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance
  • 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical wiring schematics and power distribution layouts for next‑generation aircraft.
  • Collaborate with subsystem engineers to define electrical loads, routing, and interface requirements.
  • Create and manage supplier statements of work, overseeing supplier deliverables and system checkouts.
  • Troubleshoot wiring assemblies during build‑up, resolving issues to maintain schedule and quality.
