About The Position

The Electrical Harness Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-performance wiring architectures that enable next-generation aerospace systems. This role involves producing detailed electrical wiring schematic drawings, designing intricate power distribution systems, and partnering with subsystem engineers to define loads and wiring requirements for seamless integration. The engineer will also create and manage supplier statements of work, oversee supplier deliverables, conduct system checkouts, and troubleshoot harness assemblies during manufacturing to ensure flawless build quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience creating electrical schematics or wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with Capital Logic, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent Electronic Computer Aided Design (CAD) tool.
  • Experience performing Root Cause/Corrective Action troubleshooting.
  • Hands on engineering experience with aircraft hardware or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance per business requirements.
  • MUST BE A U.S CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • The selected candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Electrical Harness Design and Installation Experience HIGHLY DESIRED
  • Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
  • Engineering experience working power systems or performed electrical load analysis.
  • Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes.
  • Experience with Teamcenter, ENOVIA or equivalent PLM software.
  • Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance
  • 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree

Responsibilities
