Electrical Field Planner

Wildstone Construction GroupKent, BC
CA$85,000 - CA$100,000Onsite

About The Position

At Wildstone, we know successful projects start long before crews arrive on site. We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Field Planner to help set our electrical projects up for success by bridging the gap between project award and field execution. This is a senior-level planning role perfect for someone who brings deep electrical field experience but enjoys thinking beyond the day-to-day of site operations. Your work directly enables our Site Leads to mobilize efficiently, with a clear picture of what they're walking into and the direction they need to work efficiently. If you’re someone who naturally spots design conflicts, thinks several steps ahead, and takes pride in creating organized, practical plans that support the field — this could be a great fit.

Requirements

  • A licensed Journeyperson Electrician with extensive commercial electrical experience and a strong background leading crews as a Foreman or Superintendent
  • Strong technical knowledge with the ability to read, interpret, and critically evaluate construction drawings and specifications
  • High proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, along with experience using digital drafting and construction technology tools such as AutoCAD or Revit
  • A highly organized, self-directed communicator who can manage multiple projects while producing thorough, field-ready documentation

Responsibilities

  • Review awarded projects and develop detailed pre-construction electrical plans, identifying routing requirements, constructability concerns, scope gaps, and design conflicts before mobilization
  • Create clear work plans and handover documentation for site leads that gives them the information they need to hit the ground running
  • Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and BIM teams using tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit to produce accurate, practical plans that reflect real field conditions
  • Apply this planning process consistently across all awarded projects, ensuring nothing moves to site without a completed field plan in place
