Electrical Engineering Intern
About The Position
DwyerOmega is a globally trusted manufacturing leader providing instrumentation solutions for the Process Measurement, Automation, Control, and HVAC markets. The company provides customized and configured products to meet customers’ application needs. The Electrical Engineering Intern will work on Lake Shore Cryotronics Instrument products, with a mentor, contributing to precision-instrumentation development through real-world projects in office and laboratory settings. The internship is based on-site in Westerville, Ohio, and runs from January through April 2027 as a full-time position. The role operates in professional office and laboratory environments. Work includes desk-based tasks, data analysis, project meetings, and hands-on lab activities. Lab work may involve exposure to chemicals, equipment, and testing materials. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and lab coats may be required.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance technical workflows.
- Familiarity with PCB design, simulation software, and firmware development; C or Python is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional integrity.
Responsibilities
